Currency aka Money

Addressing the topic of money is crucial due to its daily impact on or reality creation, whether we are working to earn more, spending, saving, desiring, needing, lacking, or fearing its loss or having it. Whether your hustling for more, indulging, accumulating savings, harbouring big dreams, craving, or feeling the stress of its management. Money is a pervasive influencer of our actions most days. It is a significant element in our lives, and confronting our thoughts and how we feel about it is essential to overcome any energy blockages, limiting beliefs and barriers that may prevent us from attaining true abundance.

Short History of Money

It has been said that money has evolved from the barter system to then develop into a more complex financial instrument. Initially, people exchanged goods and services directly, which was believed to be inefficient. With this belief, it was believed to solve this in our early societies they would use commodities like money such as livestock and grains. Eventually, precious metals such as gold and silver became standardized forms of currency due to their inherent value, durability, and finite nature. The introduction of coins was recorded around 600 BCE, and paper money was first recorded in the 7th century by the Chinese Tang Dynasty.

Today, we use fiat money—currency without intrinsic value but backed by government decree—and interest has increased in digital currencies, including cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, which offer decentralized financial transactions. Money should really be called fiat currency. By calling it currency, it helps to remember that it is energy, and everything is energy in this reality. It has been widely considered, in part expected as a form of energy because it represents potential—the ability to exchange it for goods, services, or experiences.

The term "currency" originates from the Latin word "currens," which translates to "flowing" or "running." Currency is aptly named as it seamlessly circulates throughout the worlds economy, enabling and enhancing trade and transactions. The people and the energy we bring to the world is the true economy. We are apart of the life force of this reality and currency comes from us. Currency (aka money) acts as a medium of exchange and a store of value, currency plays a vital role in streamlining and standardising economic activities world wide.

Mindset of a Millionaire vs. Someone Who is in Lack

If you're wanting to create more financial abundance in your reality, then you first need to understand your own limitations towards money and how a rich person may differ. I myself have been on a journey (which I'm still on) of healing my beliefs around money, and the first thing I realized was it's all about how you feel and think about it, as you project this outwardly. Your financial health, the same as your physical health, is an outward indicator of what is going on inwardly. So, if you want to know what's going on inside, then just look at your finances now. What do you notice about it? Ask yourself, what's going on? The truth is, rich people are not any smarter or better than poor people. They just believe in their self-worth. We all deserve wealth, health, and success.

Here are some of the key differences that have been reported in many a self help book and from researching the mindset of the poor and rich. Here are a few I thought best to include:

1. Goal Orientation: Millionaires typically set clear, long-term financial goals and work persistently towards them. They know what they want, truly. They stay focused on their goals. Ask yourself what do you really want and feel it. How does it feel? Then write it down.

2. Risk Tolerance - get out of your comfort zone: Wealthy individuals are generally more comfortable taking calculated risks and investing in opportunities that can yield high returns. They take destiny into their own hands and look into topics, investments and set their intention to make their money work for them.

3. Continuous Learning: Successful people invest in self-education and skill development to increase their earning potential. We are here to experience and learn to grow and expand so continuous learning should be apart of our daily make up. By learning we exercise our brains and this can build confidence, self esteem and self worth which are all vital beliefs we all need about ourselves.

4. Positive Attitude: They often maintain a positive outlook and view challenges as opportunities to grow. When you believe in yourself and you know what you want, why would anything stop you? Step into the life you want by visualizing and feeling how this version of you might be living. It's the feeling that you want to tap into. Our minds might not fully be on board because it can tend to focus more on the physical world than the non-physical. But everything in existence was created from the non-physical into the physical. So, make sure you're spending time in this non-physical world of your creation. Forget the how and when because when you know your self-worth and you believe wholeheartedly that you will get what you want, why would you ever question or doubt it? Just because you don't quite see it in your physical reality... YET! Doesn't mean it's not coming for you. Time can be a delay but only a delay. Let go of the attachment to the outcome and focus on how you feel instead. Letting go of the attachment allows you to be open to the endless possibilities that await you. Trust in yourself and speak as if you already have what you want.

Tap into your own beliefs around money. Do you have a scarcity mindset? Are you replaying old patterns from your parents or your own experiences? Limiting beliefs such as "there's not enough money to go around," "rich people are bad," "money doesn't grow on trees," or holding on to the belief that you don't have any money, all need to be addressed, understood, felt in the body, and then released from the body. You can reprogram your mindset, but it takes consistency and healing old patterns. Money is only energy, so why not be open to receive all the energy you want?

How to Stop Stressing and Worrying About Money

I know worrying about money is on most of our minds and it can feel like your going round and round in circles some times. But its time to get off the ride, that's enough sickness hey!

Reducing financial stress involves adopting practical and mental strategies:

1. Create a Budget: Track income and expenses to manage finances more effectively and identify areas to save. Don't obsesses about every digit but instead allow yourself to manage your money better so it works harder for you.

2. Educate Yourself: Increase your financial literacy to make informed decisions about spending, saving, and investing. Back to the point of learning new things is actually good for us and can also be fun.

4. Set Realistic Goals: Break down financial objectives into achievable steps, reducing feelings of overwhelm. Don't allow set backs pull you back down into a black hole. Instead see them as chances to grow and adjust your goals because it might need to change in order to gain something even bigger. When you think of a set back, are they really set backs of opportunities to change and grow into something much better.

5. Mindfulness Practices: Engage in activities like meditation and exercise to manage stress and maintain a positive outlook on financial challenges. By adopting these strategies, individuals can gain control over their finances and reduce the anxiety associated with money management. Mind over matter as they say. Take it step by step to make walking up the mountain appear to be like gliding up a hill. Keep going and never give up on your dreams. Our minds are better equipped to stay in the present moment because we don't always know what's going to be around the corner. So, why worry about it? You don't know anyway. Best to just trust in yourself and allow the process of your life to unfold how it's going to. Remember everything is working out in your favour, even the times when it doesn't appear to be. We don't always know why, but the best thing to get more comfortable with is not knowing what's going to happen and instead enjoy the process of getting to wherever you're going.

To conclude, money plays a significant role in shaping our current reality. Remember its currency! The energy of money - currency stems from the abundance that exists within. It is crucial to delve into your beliefs regarding money and self-worth in order to effectively navigate financial matters. Understanding our deep-seated negative beliefs about money and ourselves is essential for identifying our true desires and aspirations to step into the life you want to experience. Its yours for the creating! By gaining clarity on your financial goals and aligning them with your values, we can cultivate a healthy relationship with money and harness its energy to manifest our dreams and lead a fulfilling life. Money isn't bad! Money is just a tool we use to transfer energy from one form to another, by placing value on it. If you value money then you must value yourself. You're already abundant, you just need to align to this energy and get out of your own way sometimes.
